What is in our Food?

We usually think that the labels on the food we buy tells us whats in the food. However, that is not the case. There is a war between food activists and food companies. Many Food companies don’t want you to know whats in the food that they are selling you. Why? So lets talk about food labeling.

While the FDA has specific requirements for food labeling, some of those requirements are so broad and loose that it seems almost anything could be added to our food under the category of one ingredient – natural flavor or flavorings.

Perhaps this is the biggest mystery ingredient in our food and it’s found on the majority of food labels. It appears to be quite innocent when listed as “natural flavor or flavorings”. Many people simply assume that natural flavors are things like spices or extracts, such as vanilla, but natural flavors can be quite different. Natural flavors or flavorings can include just about everything else.

In the FDA’s (US Food and Drug Administration) “Guidance for Industry: A Food Labeling Guide under item #10, the specifics for ingredient labeling are laid out: (2)

However, products that are spices or spice blends, flavors or colors must list each ingredient by name. FD&C Act 403(i)(2) and 21 CFR 101.22(h)(1)”

But, what about natural flavor?

According to the April 1, 2014 revised CFR – Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 the term natural flavor or natural flavoring, “means the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional. Natural flavors include the natural essence or extractives obtained from plants listed in 182.10, 182.20, 182.40, and 182.50 and part 184 of this chapter, and the substances listed in 172.510 of this chapter.” (3)

With this broad definition of what a natural flavor or flavoring can be, we have no idea what we are eating. There has been a lot of talk here lately about the natural flavoring “castoreum”. Did you know that it is derived from the sex glands of beavers and has been used as a food flavoring to enhance vanilla, raspberry and strawberry products. Castoreum is also primarily used in the perfume industry.

What ingredients are used in American Food that is banned in other countries?

Food coloring dye is a common ingredient found in everyday items like soda, sports drinks, mac and cheese, cake, candy, and other similar American products. But did you know that it is made from petroleum? The chemicals used to make these different dyes have proven to cause various different cancers and can even potentially mutate healthy DNA.

European countries like Norway, Finland, France and Austria all have banned at least one variation of petroleum-containing food coloring.

Another common additive banned in other countries but allowed in the U.S. is Olestra, which essentially is a fat substitute found in products that traditionally have actual fat.

For example, low-fat potato chips like Ruffles Lite, Lays Wow and Pringles fat-free chips all contain Olestra – which is shown to cause the depletion of fat-soluble vitamins. Different brands of fat-free ice cream and mayonnaise at one time also contain the chemical.  

Olestra has been banned in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Canada.

In 2003, the FDA lifted a requirement forcing companies that use Olestra in their products to include a label warning consumers that the food their eating could cause ‘cramps and diarrhea,’ despite the fact that the agency received more than 20,000 reports of gastrointestinal complaints among olestra eaters.

Do you like citrus drinks, like Mt. Dew, Squirt or Fresca? Then you also like brominated vegetable oil, which is banned in more than 100 countries because it has been linked to basically every form of thyroid disease – from cancer to autoimmune diseases – known to man.

Other products made from bromine: chemicals used to keep carpets from catching on fire and for disinfecting swimming pools.

Other food products made from brominated vegetable oil include New York brand flatbreads, bagel chips, Baja Burrito wraps and other bread products.

Of brominated vegetable oil, the FDA says it is approved ‘for flavoring oils used in fruit-flavored beverages, for which any applicable standards of identity do not preclude such use, in an amount not to exceed 15 parts per million in the finished beverage.’

Then there’s things like Hungry Man frozen dinners, which will fill you up – with azodicarbonamide, a chemical used make things like bleach and rubber yoga mats.

Most frozen potato and bread products – like different varieties of McCain brand french fries – contain the chemical, as well as several store brand bread products.

Azodicarbonamide is known to induce asthma, and has been banned in Australia, the U.K. and most other European countries. If you were to use it as a food ingredient in Singapore, you could face up to 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.

According to the FDA, Azodicarbonamide is ‘approved to be a bleaching agent in cereal flour’ and is ‘permitted for direct addition to food for human consumption.’

Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) – are found in everyday products like Post, Kellogs and Quaker brand cereals, as well as Diamond Nuts, Chex Mix and gum brands like Wrigley’s, Trident, Bazooka and Bubble Yum.

Both BHA and BHT are waxy solids made from petroleum and are known to cause cancer in rats. It’s banned in Japan, England and several other European countries.

Whats in our Water?

Frederick S. Jaffe was the vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.. He was an advocate for increasing the availability of family planning services in the United States. He was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences in September 1977. However, in 1969 Frederick S. Jaffe wrote a memo that summarized many proposals regarding population control. And I quote, “ Examples of Proposed measures to Reduce U.S. Fertility by Universality(Universe-solity) or Selectivity of Impact.” Then it has a few bullets which give examples, such as “Selective Impact depending on Socio-economic status” “Economic Deterrents” “Social Controls” “Social Constraints”, “Require women to work and provide few child care facilities”, “Reduce/eliminate paid maternity leave or benefits”, “Payments to encourage sterilization”, “Payments to encourage abortions”, and that was just to name a few. But the reason I bring this up is because of this one example that he states, which is “Fertility control agents in water supply”.

John Holdren was senior advisor to President Barack Obama on Science and Technology from 2009 until Jan 20th 2017.

John Holdren wrote a book in 1977 in which he called for and I quote,

Women be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;

Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;

People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.

A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.

And also.. Wait for it..

The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food

From Bisphenol-a (BPA), to GMO crops, fluoride in water and countless other toxins slow killing modern society, the elite controllers have intentionally triggered cancer, disease and sterility while trying to mask their attack through “slow” ambient poisons that gradually drag down the masses as we eat factory-produced foods, drink public water and are bombarded by toxic packaging products of all kinds.
