What is the Mandela Effect?

The Mandela Effect is an observed phenomenon in which parts of the population misremembers/remembers an event or shares a memory of an event that did not occur.
Fiona Broome, a paranormal researcher, created the term to describe what she calls “false memory” of Nelson Mandela death in prison that many people believed that it had also happened in the 1980’s. In fact he was still alive and was released in 1990

What contributes to it?

Confabulation, which Wikipedia describes as a memory error, meaning a production of fabricated, distorted, or misinterpreted memories about oneself or the world, without the conscious intention to deceive.

What does it mean?

It means of a possibility of alternate realities/ parallel universes/ and other theories.

Theories behind the Mandela effect

Government influence through suggestion– Is it possible that the media working with the government giving us fake news, is a way of suggesting false events or details into our memories. So that later down the road they would have written over the actual event with the power of suggestion which can manipulate our memory of a certain event. There was a case in 1990, Gary Romana was being accused of raping his 19 year old daughter. The therapist Marche Isabella, who was treating his daughter for depression and bulimia, implanted false memories. Which destroyed his career and family. Later on he opened a lawsuit which he ended up winning proving that the doctors neglected in their practices.

Parallel Universe Theory – Maybe there is Parallel Universes and every once in awhile our universe merges.
Proof of Parallel Universe? – The London Hammer. A broken wooden handle with an iron hammer was found fossilized in 1934 in London, Texas. When dating the hammer, the results came back to it being over 140 million years old. Unless dinosaurs were out there creating modern hammers.

Simulation Theory – We are all in a simulation, like the movie matrix. Every example of Mandela effect can be explained by “glitches in the matrix” aka, software glitches in our computer simulation and the “computer” tries to do an autocorrect in the code and replaces the wrong code aka berenstain instead of berenstein.

Expanding and collapsing universe theory – stating the the repeat expansion and collapsing of the universe in which all things are played out the same but slightly different each expansion. Example: in one expansion Sinbad gets a part in a movie where he was a genie. And in another expansion Shaq gets the part in a movie where he is a genie. Causing the Shazam vs. Kazaam Mandela Effect. This theory also states that somehow we remember things from a different expansion and think it happened in this one. It would account for how multiple people remember the same thing across the world.

Large Hadron Collider – What is it? is the world’s largest and most powerful particle collider and the largest machine in the world. It was built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) between 1998 and 2008 in collaboration with over 10,000 scientists and hundreds of universities and laboratories, as well as more than 100 countries. It lies in a tunnel 27 kilometres (17 mi) in circumference and as deep as 175 metres (574 ft) beneath the France–Switzerland border near Geneva.
First collisions were achieved in 2010 at an energy of 3.5 teraelectronvolts (TeV) per beam, about four times the previous world record. After upgrades it reached 6.5 TeV per beam (13 TeV total collision energy, the present world record). At the end of 2018, it entered a two-year shutdown period for further upgrades.
What is the purpose of it? The aim of the LHC’s detectors is to allow physicists to test the predictions of different theories of particle physics, including measuring the properties of the Higgs boson and searching for the large family of new particles predicted by supersymmetric theories, as well as other unsolved questions of physics.
The Mandela Effect came into existence after the Large Hadron Collider did it’s first “test”. Since then maybe each time the LHC did a “test” it changed the universe or things inside the universe that caused these mandela effects that we are observing. Since it is in a two year shutdown that is maybe why since 2018 the Mandela Effect theories have slowed down?

Time Travelers – Maybe it is Time Travelers from the future, slightly making changes in our timeline that effect bigger things. Think of it as the Butterfly Effect movie. For example, maybe Nelson Mandela did die in Prison in the 80’s however since he died maybe South Africa was taken over by a ruthless leader who exposed a deadly virus that caused devastation to the world and killed a baby who was meant to be the savior from an invading alien race in 2020, so the time travelers had to go back in time to save Nelson Mandela so that this other person didn’t become the leader and the deadly virus never came to effect.
